JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate with cross functional teams (R&D, Engineering, QA, Purchasing) and vendors to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items
- Coordinate and ensure the completion of material or part sample evaluation and new part qualification
- Coordinate the day-to-day activities required to deliver all projects and deliverables on time
- To check for all modifications reflected in system before moving to tooling / part ordering
- Work with R&D globally to understand the build details
- Well understand and good relationship with Electronics & Semiconductor components globally and sensitive on market situation
- Lead in the supply chain process through sourcing, negotiation, RFQ and proposing best price to stakeholder for new and existing project
- Providing recommendations based on technical development expertise with focus guided by balancing quality, speed to market, cost reduction, and constructability
- NPI coordination
- having extensive global contacts with EMS suppliers
- Very independent person, with vast experience of EMS related projects
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent engineering discipline
- With min 5 years’ experience in EMS Procurement environment
- Vast experience in electronics and mechanical parts sourcing globally (Metal, PCB, Transformer, Wire Harness etc.)
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in an extremely fast-paced environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office applications
Good in analytical skills - With excellent communication and negotiation ability
- Fluent in English
- Ability to speaks Mandarin will be an added advantage
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision and work under pressure to meet dateline
- Positive thinker and result oriented
- Willing to travel
- Proven working experience as a Procurement Manager, Procurement Officer or Head of Procurement
- Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in “reading” the market
- Talent in negotiations and networking
- Good knowledge of supplier or third party management software
- Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
- Experience in collecting and analyzing data
- Strong leadership capabilities
- BSc degree in Engineering electrical/electronic
- Able to speak Mandarin
- Able to read drawing
