Our client is a local listed solution integration company.  With an extensive track record within the IT sector, they are a reputable company who works to deliver workable and cost effective solutions


  • Create a strong Business Plan to participate in a particular market segment
  • To analyse and assess relevant business opportunities for recurring revenue and business development.
  • To develop recurring revenue and business development strategies, ensure proper execution and implementation of recurring revenue and business development plan in respects of each account identified.
  • Develop and manage annual business plans by identifying key activities, priorities and risks.
  • Support the business development team to build trust, confidence and long-term relationships with clients.
  • Lead on the creation of tender documents, ensuring tender responses are innovative, accurate, compliant, timely and professionally presented.
  • Build, lead & motivate a team of Sales / Account Managers, setting and reviewing targets, assisting with bids and reporting personal and commercial progress for monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Prepare and deliver all other aspects of the strategic sales process including awareness campaigns, presentations, exhibitions and general market collateral.
  • Maintain a relationship with strategically important clients through the life of the contract.


  • Minimum of 8 years experience in a results-driven sales environment with a history of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Proven ability to develop senior level relationships at key accounts and influence decision making
  • Demonstrated success in negotiating complex contracts that involves solution integrations, managed services, application development and maintenance contracts
  • Technical aptitude to work comfortably with engineering and operations team
  • Experience creating business plans, including market research analysis and business modeling, and successfully advocating the case to senior management
  • Demonstrated success in taking a business plan and executing on the plan to develop a new and profitable business
  • Proven ability to develop an integrated marketing plan to support the business plan
  • Broad and extensive sales experience especially in Government and Government Link Companies
