A leading global semiconductor company is seeking a Principal Test Engineer – AI Power & Advanced ATE Solutions to drive next-generation test strategies for advanced power semiconductor products. In this technical leadership role, you will define ATE roadmaps, develop scalable test platforms, and lead product test solutions from development through high-volume manufacturing.
You will work closely with Product, Design, Validation, Quality, and Operations teams to ensure robust, cost-effective, and high-quality test coverage for cutting-edge AI power solutions. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in semiconductor ATE development, mixed-signal and power device testing, automation, and cross-functional technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Define and implement ATE test strategies, platforms, and roadmaps.
Lead test development, characterization, and qualification for analog, mixed-signal, and power semiconductor products.
Drive product release readiness, yield improvement, and test cost optimization.
Develop scalable test automation frameworks using C++ and Python.
Collaborate with Design, Product, Validation, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to ensure robust test coverage.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
Work with OSATs, foundries, and external partners to support production and qualification activities.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of semiconductor test engineering experience.
Strong hands-on experience with ATE platforms such as Advantest V93K, Cohu, SPEA, or ETS.
Expertise in analog, mixed-signal, power semiconductor, or multi-die product testing.
Proficiency in C++ and/or Python for test automation and software development.
Experience in product characterization, yield analysis, and production test optimization.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills.
Up to 10% regional travel as required.
