Join a global leader in electronic components as part of a new manufacturing plant setup in Laos. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in establishing processes, driving operational excellence, and supporting the successful ramp-up of production in a greenfield environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support new plant setup activities, including process development, equipment installation, and production line commissioning.
Lead new product introduction (NPI) and product transfer projects to ensure smooth and timely implementation.
Develop, implement, and continuously improve manufacturing processes to enhance yield, efficiency, and product quality.
Drive process optimization and automation initiatives to improve productivity and reliability.
Collaborate with global and inter-plant teams to transfer knowledge, implement best practices, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Troubleshoot production issues using structured problem-solving methods (4M, root cause analysis, CAPA).
Apply engineering tools such as DOE, SPC, PFMEA, and statistical analysis to improve processes.
Support production in resolving technical issues and sustaining stable operations.
Lead engineering evaluations, maintain documentation (drawings, ECN), and manage change control processes (QCPC).
Develop and implement training programs to build local team capabilities and operational readiness.
Lead and mentor process technicians and engineers to achieve project and production goals.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Process, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related field).
Minimum 3 years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
Experience in new plant setup, product transfer, or NPI will be a strong advantage.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Hands-on experience with problem-solving, data analysis, and yield improvement.
Familiar with Lean Manufacturing tools and quality systems (SPC, PFMEA, DOE).
Experience in electronics or semiconductor industry is preferred.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural and cross-functional environment.
Willingness to be based in Laos and support plant ramp-up activities.
