Job Responsibilities
- Maintain product quality and reliability, ensure mechanical integrity, and perform failure analysis on defects from manufacturing processes through customer applications
- Serve as the customer focal point in support of technical product information, in-field applications and general guidance related to product performance
- Support manufacturing operations and maintain continuous integration with the US Product and Development teams on all aspects of component and connector design integrity
- Responsible for the successful transition of products and processes from NPI phase to volume manufacturing into manufacturing regions and regular interfacing with Global NPI and manufacturing engineering groups at the connector manufacturing facilities.
- Actively participate in the support of design reviews, product testing and qualification, and introduction of new products.
Job Requirements
- BS/MS Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or Electrical Engineering
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Basic to good understanding of GD&T methodologies
- Experience with solid modeling tools (Creo), FEA tools a plus
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently
