Our Client is a well-established company in the Food Manufacturing industry, the organization is hiring for a Quality Assistant Manager position, specializing in food quality systems, to facilitate the production and processing of food products as per compliance to food safety systems and international standards.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Establish, implement, maintain, and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with food safety standards such as HACCP, GMP, FSSC 22000, BRC, IFS, and HALAL.
Define, implement, and control QMS processes, including process interaction, criteria, methods, and required documentation across the organization.
Ensure effective resource planning, internal communication, and organization-wide awareness of customer, regulatory, and food safety requirements.
Provide guidance and ensure consistent application of QMS requirements throughout the organization, including change management and risk control.
Plan, conduct, and oversee internal audits and monitoring activities; liaise with external parties and certification bodies during audits.
Ensure timely investigation, correction, and prevention of nonconformities, hazards, complaints, and audit findings.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives by reviewing quality, product, service, and business performance against objectives and targets.
Exercise authority to resolve QMS-related issues, call meetings, obtain necessary information, and ensure QMS integrity during operational or system changes.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Applied Science, Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of experience as Quality System Management role in Food Industry.
Knowledge in HACCP, GMP, FSSC22000, BRC, IFS, HALAL etc.
