A rapidly growing precision engineering and automation startup, headquartered in Shenzhen, China, with expanding operations and customers across Malaysia, Southeast Asia, Europe, and the Americas, is currently hiring a Sales Engineer (Machining) to manage both Malaysia‑based and global accounts. The company specializes in high‑precision machining, automation solutions, and advanced manufacturing technologies, serving global semiconductor and industrial customers. This role plays a critical part in expanding the company’s global footprint, combining strong technical expertise with customer engagement and commercial responsibility, with a clear career pathway to a managerial position as the organization continues to scale.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop local and global customer accounts, primarily across Southeast Asia, Europe, and the Americas.

  • Drive technical sales for CNC machining, precision manufacturing solutions, and industrial equipment.

  • Understand customer technical requirements and propose tailored machining and engineering solutions.

  • Conduct technical discussions, solution presentations, and project evaluations with customers.

  • Work closely with engineering and operations teams to ensure technical feasibility and smooth project execution.

  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and negotiate both technical and commercial terms.

  • Identify new market opportunities and contribute to the company’s business growth strategy.
     

Key Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related disciplines.

  • Background or hands‑on exposure in CNC machining, precision manufacturing, industrial tools, or equipment.

  • Sales experience is an advantage; however, engineering‑based candidates with strong communication and commercial aptitude are welcome.

  • Willingness to travel regionally and internationally.
