A well-established multinational organization specializing in advanced materials and specialty chemicals, serving a wide range of industries across Asia and globally are seeking a motivated Sales Executive to support and grow the Plastics Division business. The role is responsible for developing customer relationships, managing existing accounts, and driving new business opportunities within the plastics / resin market. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of plastic materials or chemical-related products, with the ability to work closely with customers to provide commercial and basic technical support.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of customers within the plastics / resin industry
    Identify and develop new business opportunities, accounts, and applications

  • Promote and sell plastic raw materials, additives, or related chemical products

  • Maintain strong working relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business

  • Prepare sales proposals, quotations, and pricing negotiations

  • Coordinate with internal teams (technical, logistics, supply chain) to ensure timely delivery and service support

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer demand

  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback for management

  • Participate in customer visits, industry events, and technical discussions as required
     

Key Requirement:

  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience, preferably in plastics, resins, polymers, or chemical-related industries

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Chemistry, or related disciplines is an advantage

  • Alternatively, practical experience in the plastics or resin industry will be considered

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

  • Results-driven, self-motivated, and customer-oriented

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Willingness to travel for customer visits as required

  • Proficient in basic MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
