We are representing a well-established multinational manufacturing company seeking a hands-on engineering professional to lead project execution and support production improvement initiatives. This role combines project coordination, process optimization and team leadership within a dynamic production environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead end to end engineering projects from planning to implementation within manufacturing operations
Coordinate with internal teams, customers and suppliers to ensure timely and smooth project delivery
Review technical drawings and translate requirements into practical production solutions
Support factory layout planning, including equipment arrangement and process flow improvements
Design and improve jigs, fixtures and production processes for efficiency and quality
Work closely with suppliers on technical discussions, cost and lead time optimization
Monitor production performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
Collaborate with cross functional teams to resolve recurring production or process issues
Assist in setting KPIs, preparing reports and supporting cost control initiatives
Ensure compliance with quality standards and operational procedures
Job Requirements:
Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering with experience 6 - 10 years of relevant working experience
Strong command of English, Malay and Mandarin, both written and spoken
Excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities, proactively communicate across departmental boundaries with colleagues and managers, Japan headquarters, suppliers and customers
Proven ability to manage engineering projects, including internal and external stakeholder coordination
Competent in process layout creation, handling 2D and 3D data and reading, understanding and interpreting engineering drawings
Experience in jig and fixture design, process design and factory / process layout design, including preparation of feasibility studies
Proficient in engineering and modelling software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks and CATIA
Strong negotiation skills with suppliers and external vendors
