Company Overview
Our client is an established food manufacturing company. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient inbound and outbound logistics, accurate inventory management, compliance with food safety standards, and effective coordination with internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the entire warehouse team to ensure accurate and timely picking, packing, storage, restoration, and retrieval of goods and pallets.
Ensure all warehouse equipment, tools, and machinery are used safely, correctly, and efficiently, maintaining excellent housekeeping and 5S standards at all times.
Perform timely system transactions, location transfers, and updates to warehouse records and reports.
Coordinate closely with Procurement on incoming goods and delivery schedules.
Coordinate with Sales and Logistics teams on outbound planning, dispatch arrangements, and delivery timelines.
Liaise with Quality Assurance (QA) on incoming and outgoing procedures to ensure compliance with food safety and quality requirements.
Monitor and record all inbound and outbound transactions accurately.
Prepare monthly inventory reports, analyze stock levels and turnover, and highlight slow-moving or aging inventory with improvement recommendations.
Support internal and external audits related to warehouse operations and food safety compliance.
Ensure effective implementation and maintenance of Food Safety Management
Systems, including but not limited to: HACCP, GMP, FSSC 22000, BRC, IFS, HALAL
Job Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Warehouse Management, or a related field.
Minimum 5–8 years of warehouse management experience, preferably in food or FMCG manufacturing.
Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP systems.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop a warehouse team.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
