A well‑established company in the production and marketing of ready‑to‑eat food products is seeking an Assistant Plant Manager to support product planning, development, production, and distribution, driving the growth of ready‑to‑eat food culture in Malaysia
Job Responsibilities
Support the Plant Manager in overseeing daily operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and achievement of plant objectives
Translate business strategies into actionable plans, aligning resources, processes, and teams for effective execution
Analyze operational, financial, and industry data to identify gaps, optimize performance, and drive strategic improvements
Manage plant resources, budgets, and workforce to maximize productivity while maintaining cost efficiency and quality standards
Monitor performance against KPIs and customer requirements, ensuring continuous improvement in operations and output
Lead and develop teams by fostering ownership, clear communication, and a strong vision for the plant’s future
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline
Proven managerial experience within the food manufacturing industry
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and quality assurance systems
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving capabilities
Skilled in data analysis, with the ability to utilise production KPIs and performance metrics
Hands-on experience in food manufacturing or a similar industry
