  • Focus on increasing existing market share and growth on Medical Indemnity Insurance (MMI) Scheme and healthcare portfolio
  • Work closely with Sales team & Cluster Head in creating value to initiate client conversations and client acquisition strategies
  • Drive Sales Performance & Effectiveness
  • To build and enhance the sales and marketing structure in MMI and healthcare portfolio
  • Meet Sales Effectiveness KPIs by ensuring compliance in the areas of Connect metrics, Sales Process & Branding and LMPs.
  • Drive discipline and optimal use of Connect as the single tool for new business pipeline management and financial forecasting.
  • Contribute & lead client service, claims management & advocacy on existing clientele and new client acquisitions objectives
  • Provide risk advisory and consultancy to existing clients and prospects/new clients relating to healthcare risk solutions predominantly medical malpractice risk solution
  • Identifying client needs and requirements and tailor insurance business solutions to client’s needs
  • Work with Insurers on tailored insurance solutions as client’s advocate
  • Build relationship with Carriers/Insurers and Co-Insurers with a Quarterly action plan to provide updates on the scheme performance, revenue, claims statistics.
  • Ensure compliance in the areas of Client Promise, Asia Brokers Guide, Contract Penetration and Certainty, Data Quality Management, Invoice Performance, Overdue Renewals, Time Recording System, Standard Commission Grid variance approval/escalation process, Fee Review Process.
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly / quarterly reporting i.e. forecast, pre-close estimate, revenue walk.
  • Ensure Client Profitability, further reduce impact of profit destroyers (profitability scorecard & escalation process)
  • Deliver United – support United Growth Plays
  • Support in country Business Services (ABS) agenda. Work closely with CPU team on invoicing and various processing functions for MMI and Healthcare Solutions lines and enforce data quality management.

  • Enhance ‘Sales & Client Focus’ culture including sales competency development and new initiatives to drive sales growth
  • Preferred to have 5 - 7 years in the insurance broking or underwriting
  • Demonstrate proactive-ness and driven attitude in past work
  • Experience in Business Development is a plus
  • Good understanding of insurance across all lines
  • Medical Indemnity Insurance will be added advantage, at least 3 to 4 years of                    liability /underwriting experience would be good
  • Willing to be based in Kuala Lumpur Office
