Develop, implement, and maintain configuration management strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure CMDB accuracy, integrity, and reliability.
Structure, administer, and maintain the CMDB, ensuring high data quality through regular audits, updates, and cleansing activities.Identify, define, and manage Configuration Items (CIs) and establish clear relationships and dependencies within the CMDB.
Collaborate with cross‑functional IT teams to define, document, and enforce configuration management standards and requirements.
Conduct training sessions and knowledge sharing to promote correct CMDB usage and compliance with ITSM processes.
Proactively monitor, analyse, and improve CMDB and ITSM processes to enhance operational effectiveness.
Support reporting, dashboards, and data analysis to provide visibility into CMDB health and IT asset relationships.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Minimum 4 years of experience in CMDB administration and ITSM process management.
Strong understanding of IT Service Management frameworks, particularly ITIL.
Hands-on experience with Configuration Management in ServiceNow.
Solid knowledge of IT infrastructure, including network architecture, systems, and databases (e.g., Microsoft SQL).
Proven experience in data analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and prioritize effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence across teams.
Ability to train and mentor users on CMDB and ITSM best practices.
Strong proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
