Company Overview 

 

Our client is a new start up manufacturing plant from oversea investment. The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, effective budgeting, and strong internal controls to support strategic decision-making.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Oversee day-to-day finance operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, and cash flow management

  •  Prepare monthly management accounts, financial analysis, and variance explanations for management review

  •  Assist in the preparation of quarterly external reporting to relevant authorities and ensure compliance with annual statutory accounts and audit requirements

  •  Coordinate and manage external audits, tax submissions, and statutory filings with regulators and authorities

  •  Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal financial policies

  •  Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes in collaboration with business stakeholders

  •  Review and strengthen internal controls, risk management processes, and financial governance

  •  Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business performance and strategic initiatives 

  •  Manage, coach, and develop the finance team to ensure high performance and continuous improvement

  •  Liaise with external parties such as auditors, tax agents, banks, and regulatory bodies


Job Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent is preferred

  • Minimum 5–8 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, including statutory reporting exposure

  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, taxation, and regulatory compliance 

  •  Experience in managing audits and external reporting to authorities

  •  Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

  •  Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
