Responsibilities

  • Ensure product meets the established standard of quality, reliability, usability and performance. 
  • Ensure all documentations implemented meet to customer requirement, ISO 9001 & IATF 16949 QMS standard.          
  • Ensure company gain accreditation to extend or renew standard including ISO9001:2015 & IATF16949:2016.           
  • Monitor Risk Management activities.           
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with Industry & Regulatory Regulation.           
  • Have the authority to stop delivery or stop production and correct all quality related problems in order to conform to product requirement.                
  • Work with related Division on the effective implementation of corrective, preventive and improvement action plan.           
  • Response to any enquiry from Managing Director, General Managers regarding on Quality & Quality Management System and Safety  matters.           
  • Verify and validate QMS documents (Quality Manual, Quality Procedure and other related documentation) for continous improvement.               
  • Work with related Division to resolve issues relating to non conformity of product to meet  customer specific requirement.           
  • Review customer complaint/s Quality Performance Improvement Report to ensure countermeasures to be taken will be effective, monitor its implementation using P-D-C-A methodology.           
  • Response to any other task requested, directed or ordered by the superiors based on the organisation's and company's requirement.             
  • To review QA Division Monthly KPI report.           
  • To review QA/Quality Control Department and QA/Quality Management System Monthly KPI report.           
  • To review Monthly Quality Performance and take improvement measures .           
  • Validate Company COPQ result and take corrective actions to minimise quality loss cost.           
  • To review Standard Operation Procedure with Related Division to ensure its relevancy and effectiveness.           
  • Response to any other task requested, directed or ordered by the superiors based on the organisation's and company's requirement.
  • To review yearly QA Division KPI result and plan following year QA Division KPI target.           
  • To review yearlyCompany Safety Performance and set following yearSafety Performance target.           
  • To review Quality Policy, Objectives and Target and  customer scorecard for continous improvement.           
  • To re-evaluate contigency plan , both internal and externa risk, to ensure production output in order to meet customer requirement.  
  • To re-evaluate Perodua Risk Assessment result, identify further risk and plan its contigency action.           
  • To ensure  Management Review Meeting are able to address risk and opportunities for improvement.           
  • To identify training needs in order to meet qualiy standards.           
  • Response to any other task requested, directed or ordered by the superiors based on the organisation's and company's requirement.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 10 years working experience in manufacturing environment with 5 years direct involved in quality assurance and quality control, Automotive industry preferred.
  • Good knowledge in  ISO 9001 & IATF 16949 QMS standard and renewal of ISO9001:2015 & IATF16949:2016.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Good team work and good communication skill.
  • Possess own transport.
