JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Social Media and Digital Management
● Manages marketing channels such as social media websites(Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn etc), mobile applications etc to support Naelofar brand awareness
● Ensures the utilization of digital channels to support marketing campaigns, new product introductions/changes, public relations activities and community events
● Manages the Company’s brand portfolio in terms of brand image with the goal of maximizing leverage, both in sales and consumer brand perception
Public Relations & People Management
● Manage the implementation of joint marketing initiatives/ collaborations into marketing plan
● Coordinates with parties concerned for the Company’s media placements, event sponsorships, press releases, promotions, etc. to ensure maximum exposure of the company’s brands
● Preparing various presentations for all the marketing metrics
● Define goals and key performance indicators for marketing executives and ensures effective implementation of the performance management process
● Develops talent within the team by providing guidance and coaching to achieve the defined goals
● Drives a culture of feedback and coaching within the department by providing feedback on an ongoing basis, identifying development needs and coaching the employees on the areas of improvement
● Supervises/leads marketing executive in their daily tasks (e.g: photoshoots, etc) in achieving their respective performance targets
Content Management
● Develop marketing content and digital strategy
● Assisting the retail management team with various operational tasks such as assisting with the promotional setup of the store for sale/ new launch products and store opening
● Keeping up to date with current market trends by analysing customer profiles
● Develop marketing, content, digital strategy to meet business objectives
● Influencing the industry as a whole
● Lead events, new product launches, providing event support and customer service
Market Study/Analysis and Budget Management
● Develop go to market strategy for all products portfolio
● Provide customer insights on products to the Company
● Monitors the competitive landscape of the Company’s brands and identifies the latest trends in the market in terms of advertising and promotional campaigns
● Initiates market studies and other forms of research (personal feedback, internet research, etc) to gain insights regarding the company’s brands and ongoing projects/events
● Evaluates the financial aspects such as marketing budget, expenditures, and return-on-investment and profit-loss projections
● Managing the marketing distribution through proper inventory channels and relationships
● Managing the marketing budget for the business
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
● Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business or related field
● Master’s degree in Marketing is an added advantage
● Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken)
● A minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in the retail industry with at least 4-5 years in similar role
● Excellent communication, presentation and leadership skills
● Outstanding organizational and time management skills
