JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Have primary responsibility for the management, design, communication, and implementation of all Human Resources policies, procedures, and regulations including labor and employee relations in the facility
  • Be accountable for the compliance of Corporate, Group, and Regional HR programs to meet Company policy, labor law, and governmental regulations
  • Ensure Company Code of Conduct is observed and followed by all employees. Ensure functional managers are aware of any ethical issues arising and the recommended course of action. Responsible for managing all employee grievances and disciplinary processes; liaison with Labor Union (where applicable) or legal department
  • Implement recruiting strategies for hourly and salaried employees; interface with functional and operational leaders on openings; prepare position and person profile where specific needs arise; review resumes and create candidate pools; develop interview and selection process; create recommendations for offers
  • Partner with functional leaders to complete performance management and talent management cycle; ensure managers and employees complete development plans 
  • Facilitate the annual merit review cycle, observing country guidelines
  • Facilitate employee engagement survey, focus group feedback opportunities, and follow up actions; measure effectiveness and efficiency of action plans
  • Champion participation as well as quality of High Performance Teams to drive business performance and enhance employee empowerment & engagement
  • Foster effective communication between employees and management; ensure management is responsive to resolving employee issues and concerns
  • Develop and administer local training; work with managers to identify best utilization of training offerings; participate in training actions as appropriate 
  • Ensure proper & timely updates of employee information into HRIS system
  • Conduct HR reporting and analytics, as needed; ensure statutory reporting requirements, from the company or local administrative authorities are done properly and on time 
  • Actively support and involve in EHS, Lean, and any other major strategic corporate initiatives; coordinate a variety of company social functions
     

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • University Degree (or international equivalent)
  • Minimum Experience 6 Years of HR working experience in MNCs  
  • Possess high level of integrity and positive working attitude 
  • In-depth knowledge of Malaysia Labor Laws and regulations 
  • Possess good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for effective interface with all levels of internal and external contacts 
  • Possess good analytical and technical skills required to understand business practices and recommend proper opportunities 
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential issues with tact and diplomacy 
  • Demonstrated competency in computer applications
