Responsibilities

  1. Facilitate growth of Japanese related company’s (J-Corp) business.
  2. To tap potential of Japanese foreign investment in the country.
  3. Identify relevant potential & synergy to develop the J-Corp business.
  4. To develop propositions related to this business.
  5. To ensure achievement of annual sales target for clients.
  6. Provide support in the aspects of technical, cultural and linguistic knowledge in matters relating to Japan and Japanese clients.
  7. Forge strong and lasting relationship with key decision makers as well as Japanese expatriates holding executive or senior management positions within corporate clients.
  8. Ensure the client receive accurate and up to date insurance advice regarding to policy coverage and tariff/PIAM/Bank Negara rules which will affect their insurances.
  9. To ensure the premium due from client are collected promptly in line with PIAM, Financial Service Act requirement and the company rule.
  10. Ensure accurate and timely distribution of information to clients
  11. Provide relevant support to Japanese clients in timely manner and when required, in response to possible change in internal or external environment.

Requirements

  1. Degree in any discipline or professional certification in DMII/ AMII.
  2. Minimum TWO (2) years’ of working experience in relevant insurance industry.
  3. Possess fundamental or basic General Insurance knowledge or practice will be an added advantage.
  4. Effective communication in writing, business presentation and interpersonal communication across various levels of seniority.
  5. Good communication skills in oral and written in English.
  6. Strong creative thinking and an ability to create the right outcomes for the business.
  7. Sales and performance driven.
  8. Self-motivated and continuously strive for improvement and enhancement.
