  • Manage and responsible for the overall functions of the Toyo group OE domestic segment of the tyre business including the implementation of the marketing strategies.
  • To achieve Toyo Group OE Domestic Sales objective (units & RM), profits, SOM and SOB.
  • To submit Toyo Group OE Domestic Mid Term Plan & Business Budget timely.
  • Responsible for the smooth and effective conduct of OE segment of business in achieving sales objectives and share of business.    
  • Prepare OE sales estimates, product planning and provide input in the formulation of annual OE marketing plan for Deputy General Manager-OE Sales review.
  • Liaise with SCM to ensure smooth and efficient delivery process to OEM.
  • Communicate with SCM for any stock/delivery discrepancies.
  • Conduct OE market research and investigation including defining opportunities and assess profitability of new product (size, line, application) requirement and opportunities.
  • Ensure efficient OE stock control and monitoring as to ensure appropriate/minimum stock holding is kept at all time. 
  • Meeting and regular visit to OEM/OEM 1st Tier to monitor on stock and logistic issues.
  • Prepare data analysis of sales to each OEM.
  • Prepare and submit monthly OE Sales Report to management. 
  • Ensure that sales collection is performed in a timely manner with OE and to pursue and recover bad/doubtful debts.
  • Maintain highest customer satisfaction on all services provided.
  • Develop and sustain good relationships with OE to facilitate clearance and obtain the necessary approvals as the preferred tyre vendor.
  • Liaise with sales, production, development, technical departments to provide sales and technical inputs on new car models.  
  • Work closely with OEM’s various departments – R&D (tire development), Supplier Quality Assurance, Technical, Procurement & Vendor on tire specifications and tyre needs as well as Finance department on pricing.    
  • Monitor competitor’s activities and provide timely market feedback to Management.  
  • Plan, prepare, coordinate and submit all related budget on timely basis.
  • Prepare and submit Monthly OE Activities Report to Deputy General Manager - OE Sales.



  • Degree or diploma in automotive, business, engineering or science discipline from recognised university/college.
  • Minimum 5 years managerial working experience in sales and/or technical field preferably in a tyre industry.
  • Independent, resourceful, and results-oriented and able to work under pressure. Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to interact with people of all functions and levels.
  • Computer literate. 
  • Good written and spoken in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Knowledge of Mandarin and major Chinese dialects a distinct advantage.
