The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes for quartz products.
Job Descriptions
Select and implement appropriate manufacturing equipment and tooling.
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure equipment meets production requirements.
Maintain and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives, like Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma projects to increase efficiency, reduce cost/waste, and improve product quality.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address production issues.
Use Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Quality Tools to monitor and improve processes.
Collaborate with the QC team to conduct inspections and resolve quality issues.
Develop and prepare reports for project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality control.
Proficiency in CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma are highly desirable.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
