Japanese OEM automotive parts manufacturer subsidiary in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is looking for a high calibre and experienced staff for Manager position for New Business team. Job scopes:
• Lead new business model initiatives in the Malaysian automotive aftermarket.
• Work closely with management to plan and execute market expansion strategies.
• Identify and develop new distribution channels, partners, and business opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders (regional offices, headquarters in Japan, and cross-functional teams) to drive business initiatives.
• Facilitate communication and alignment between Malaysia operations and other global offices.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Prepare business proposals, reports, and presentations for management.
• Drive project execution, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.
• Support negotiations with partners and customers to establish sustainable business relationships.
• Monitor business performance and recommend improvements to maximize growth.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
• Knowledgeable of MS Office
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Ability to drive initiatives independently and deliver results in an ambiguous environment.
• Ability to lead a team and deal with people, good people supervision skills, high sense of responsibility.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with stakeholders
• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a multicultural and cross-regional environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience in business development, consulting, or project management is preferred.
• Automotive industry knowledge is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese (additional languages are a plus).
