Job Descriptions
Responsible for the respective KPI, QCDS (Quality, Cost, Delivery and Safety)
Oversee daily operations of Engineering & Production to meet the KPI (OTD, OEE, Process Yield, Machine Down Time / Manpower Utilization), ensure maximum efficiency and productivity
Develop continuous improvement (Kaizen) projects focusing on cost reduction, yield improvement, CPK improvement, process optimization, cycle time improvement and new parts evaluation / qualification.
Lead new product development to ensure SOP, training, jigs, and tools are available for producing new products.
Ensure production adheres to health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of workers
Monitor workers’ work performance, discipline and attendance and take necessary disciplinary action with HR advice.
Monitor inventory levels and adjusting production accordingly to avoid overproduction.
Implements, coordinates and monitors production schedules and workflow activities from time of release to delivery of completed finished product.
Job Requirements
Bachelor Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Engineering (Industrial / Mechanical / Metal Fabrication) or equivalent.
Min 10 years of related working experiences and 5 years of experience at managerial level in manufacturing industry, with exposure in die casting and injection molding.
Knowledgeable with experience of ISO standards requirement.
Good organizational and analytical skill to ensure work processes carried out by subordinates are efficient and effective.
Experience in production planning.
