Job Responsibilities:
• Responsible for overall manufacturing operations. Implement good manufacturing practices for Quality Improvement, Process Control, Line Discipline, Good Housekeeping, Work Efficiency, High Productivity and Zero Wastage. 
• Plan, organize and lead the factory team to achieve the agreed objectives (safety, environment, quality, cost and services); proactive drive focused improvement. 
• Develop and oversee budgets, KRA/KPI, plans and programs to ensure the optimum utilisation of available raw materials, equipment, space, facilities and human resource necessary to attain manufacturing objectives, factory performance & profitability. 
• Responsible for periodical preventive maintenance and all aspects of machinery / building maintenance in the factory. 
• Risk assessment of machinery, process, movement and hazard identification. 
• Ensure all aspects of engineering for factory facilities, process, automations are optimized.
• Critically review and monitor operating results and to specifically update and recommend to Management on issues affecting Quality and Profitability. 
• Assure competency and continuity of managerial and specialised personnel are fully capable of achieving management and manufacturing objectives through training and motivation & regulatory requirements of all products manufactured. 
• Ensure adherence to all company principles as well as local laws and regulations; ensure compliance with health, safety & regulatory requirements of all products manufactured.
• Follow all factory safety regulations accordingly and ensure that staffs are trained to abide by these safety requirements. Maintain and improve housekeeping in all times. 
• Ensure the full implementation of all aspects of GMPs that should conform to & comply with the Local Safety, Environmental & Quality Regulatory Requirements. 
• Supervise, control and delegate job functions for all production, store and maintenance staff. This includes staff recruitment, staff discipline, evaluate staff performance, and organize necessary staff training. 
• Ensure smooth operations by managing employees and industrial relations; build and maintain positive community relations. 
• Collaborate with peer factory managers to share best practices, liaise with market T & P functions, R & D group and Supply Chain to drive continuous improvements & cost down activities. 
• Drive profitability, create, implement and manage business strategies to achieve the company’s objectives and to provide continual stimulus to its growth and operational efficiency. 
• Ensure timely and accurate performance reporting pertaining to maintenance, production & etc as required by The Management. 
• Instil amongst all employees Company’s Vision, Mission, Culture and Quality objectives. 
• To provide overall direction & management of the group’s operation & to lay the foundation for the company’s long term growth. 
• To organize, develop & implement SOP, internal controls & policy guidelines for the company.
 
Job Requirements:
• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing/Production Operations, Process Design & Control/Instrumentation, Chemistry.
• Min 5 years as a General Manager in a Glove Manufacturing facility.
• Good analytical, interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal)
