JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- To manage the production operations to ensure operational and quality metrics are met
- Staff supervision, including hiring, training, evaluating performance and determine disciplinary actions if necessary
- Implementation of production programs/ schedules, safety initiatives, applicable product and quality improvement measures
- Assist with managing/ leading activities among various departments, such as maintenance, materials and quality control
- Assist in implementing of manufacturing strategy and process improvement projects
- Improve costs, employee commitment, safety, production lines, quality, efficiency, cycle times and volumes
- Supervise various complex projects
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/ Operations Management/ Chemistry/ Chemical Engineering or equivalent
- At least 5 year(s) of related working experience, including 2 years of supervisory experience
- Working experienced in paint/ coatings or chemical manufacturing plant
- Hands on experience in resolving production and operational problems with committed in handling production management
- Able to supervise/ train a group of staff
- Good in PC skills and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
