JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Engineer will be on top of all schedules, procurement and financial activities related to the capex project. To reach this target, he/she will have to: Global Project Leadership and Governance.
Schedule
Follow up on schedule with suppliers (general contractor and suppliers)
Collaborating with other department leaders to define and prioritize the tasks.
Check on progress
Procurement
Analyze the contractual terms of the supplier's offers.
Raise PR (Purchase Request)
Organize RFI & RFQ (Request for Information and Quotation) with purchasing
Be the focal point for the suppliers / contractors (in term of delivery and finance)
Attend weekly purchasing review of the project
Organize delivery with supplier, transport and technical team
Organize custom clearance
Finance
Help the PM (Project Manager) to follow up on the expenses
Amortization declaration
Update ROFO (Rolling Forecast) monthly
Update PMT (Plan at Middle Term)
Analyzing financial data, including project budgets, risks, and resource allocation.
Reporting
Providing financial reports and budget outlines to Executives.
Update the weekly and monthly presentation to local management on procurement and financial topic
Update the Steering committee with French management on procurement and financial topic
- A bachelor's degree in business, Administration, or a related field.
- A Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification may be advantageous.
- 5 years of hands-on experience in industrial processes.
A minimum of one year's experience in a supervisory position may be advantageous
