A European based company in Bayan Lepas, Penang is looking for Purchasing Section Head to oversee the respective business unit team.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and implement purchasing strategies to ensure cost-effective acquisition of goods and services
Lead and mentor the purchasing team
Monitor market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Manage inventory levels to balance cost and production needs
Provide timely reporting on supplier delivery status of all projects
Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and regulations
Prepare budgets, forecasts, and performance reports
Use data analytics to improve purchasing efficiency
Job Requirement
Hands-on experience in purchasing management, preferably in contract manufacturing industry
At least 8 years of working experience, preferably with team lead experience
Proven track records in process improvement
Strong in data crunching and analysis
