JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide leadership and direction to Regional Human Resource units

  • Oversee and manage the HR operations in ways consistent with its short-medium-long term goals and performance targets

  • Formulate Regional HR annual plans and strategies

  • Lead network/relationship & process optimisation for streamlining for the internal practice compliance & group synergy

  • Operate within the approved annual plans and framework of the HR strategic directions set for the Region and Division

  • Drive the Region’s operational HR improvement initiatives

  • Support the internal stakeholders by reviewing and providing the adequate manpower and resources

  • Provide advice and guidance to all Operating Units within the region and ensure HR and business strategic alignments are consistently met

  • Create and maintain an organizational environment that promotes positive staff morale and performance

  • Motivate and facilitate a high performance management team; provide coaching and mentoring to relevant team and stakeholders

  • Support the development talent to ensure the Region maintains a strong succession plan

  • Facilitate and monitor the people development in all operating units within the region Lead the achievement of the HR/ People related performance against set targets

  • Review and constantly manage HR performance through periodical and yearly performance reviews and dialogues with team and stakeholders

  • Identify defining actions and introduce key intervention measures when necessary

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Human Resource/ Business Administration/any relevant discipline

  • Minimum 7 years working experience in HR environment with at least 3-5 years holding managerial/management position

  • Willing to work in East Malaysia

  • Experience in dealing with operational HR and business landscape

  • Exposed and experienced in managing a HR unit

  • Exposed and experienced in managing HR project will be an added advantage
