Our client is an OEM from Germany with presence in Malaysia for more than 15 years and has more than 150 offices worldwide. They are looking for Sales & Business Development Manager to join their expansion plan.
- Strengthening current customer base of Malaysia market particularly in the oil & gas sector
- Extending current sales network to encompass new customers, consultants, EPCs in the region
- Facilitate contact between HQ sales and local client base.
- Target to get the company on the approved vendor lists of major projects / customers / EPCs/ engineering companies.
- Coordinate with other business units (e.g. gas turbines/diesel engines/gas engines etc.) whenever there are project synergies
- Collect & consolidate market intelligence of the industry
- Handle all technical specification and technical quotation for compressors for upstream business
- Perform compressor performance runs and determining compressor selections for projects
- Preparation of API / technical datasheets / forms / tables / charts
- Liaison with customers to optimize compressor selections that provides win-win solutions to the customer and the company
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Experience in preparing technical specification and tender quotation for bidding process
- Candidate must be from either one of this industry : oil & gas, petrochemical, refineries, or the energy sector
- Ability to think out of the box to propose innovative solutions to clients
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Sales experience in an international environment
