Sales & Service Engineer（Japanese Trading Company）

The business continues to grow steadily, with stable and solid performance in both revenue and net profit.
As part of its organizational strengthening strategy, the company is expanding its team and is currently hiring for its Penang, Malaysia office.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop new customers and new business opportunities for:

  • Environmental testing equipment

  • Coating / dispensing equipment

• Follow up and provide support to existing customers (including customers of other product lines)

• Handle service-related tasks and basic maintenance work
  (Training will be provided in Japan)

• Provide product knowledge and technical support to sales members in the Penang office

• Travel within Malaysia as required for business

Qualifications

1. Experience with at least one of the following types of equipment:

• Environmental testing equipment

• Automated coating / dispensing equipment

• Vibration testing equipment

• Semiconductor manufacturing equipment

• EMC testing equipment, etc.

2. Experience in at least one of the following roles:

• Sales

• Service engineer

• Equipment end-user

3. Valid driver’s license required

4. Business-level proficiency in English

5. Bachelor’s degree holders

Hiring Background

• Environmental testing equipment

• Coating / dispensing equipment

Previously, sales and service roles were handled separately. However, the company is now transitioning to a new organizational model that emphasizes professionals who can understand and support both sales and technical/service aspects.

The successful candidate for this position is expected to serve as a role model for this new integrated approach.
