Key Responsibilities
Handle AP processing, supplier master data, fixed assets register, and GL maintenance.
Prepare supplier payments, staff claims, and ensure timely utility and statutory payments.
Perform month‑end closing, including reconciliations, journal adjustments, variance analysis, and financial statements preparation.
Prepare cash flow and payment forecasts.
Calculate FX revaluation, depreciation, accruals, provisions, and prepayments.
Reconcile AP, AR, stock aging to trial balance and confirm intercompany balances.
Prepare audit schedules and liaise with auditors, tax agents, and company secretary.
Prepare and submit GST, withholding tax, sales tax, and other statutory filings.
Calculate corporate and deferred tax; generate self‑billed e‑invoices.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and Group policies.
Support ad‑hoc reporting, monthly hedging, and property insurance renewal.
Ensure adherence to internal controls and Group policies; proactively identify and escalate control gaps, compliance issues, and process improvement opportunities.
Job Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Accounting or related field, with 3–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
CIMA or ACCA qualification is required.
Strong attention to detail with good organizational and analytical skills.
Good computer literacy, especially in spreadsheets; knowledge of Lotus Notes and ERP systems (e.g. Pronto) is an added advantage.
