A fast-growing financial services company is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to lead the marketing team in Kuala Lumpur. This role is responsible for shaping and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that strengthens brand positioning, drives customer acquisition, supports revenue growth, and positions the company as a trusted industry leader across digital, ground, and partnership channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the overall marketing strategy and execution to support business growth, revenue targets, and market positioning, including go-to-market planning, product positioning, and value proposition development
Define marketing KPIs, manage budgets, and optimize marketing investments to maximize performance and ROI
Drive customer acquisition, lead generation, and partnership growth through integrated, multi-channel marketing initiatives
Partner closely with internal teams to align campaigns, optimize funnels, and improve conversion and customer lifetime value
Oversee the planning and execution of digital and offline marketing campaigns, ensuring consistent brand messaging and compliance with regulatory standards
Strengthen brand presence, market differentiation, and public trust through effective branding, media relations, corporate communications, and crisis management
Plan and deliver webinars, seminars, workshops, and industry events to build thought leadership, engage stakeholders, and generate qualified leads
Manage end-to-end event execution including content direction, promotion, logistics, budgets, timelines, and post-event performance reporting
Lead the development and promotion of marketing content, sales enablement materials, and stakeholder communications to support agents, partners, and internal teams
Establish clear communication frameworks and onboarding support to ensure alignment, engagement, and campaign readiness
Identify and manage strategic partnerships, co-marketing initiatives, and sponsorships to extend market reach and brand visibility
Leverage CRM systems, analytics, and market insights to evaluate performance, enhance personalization, and provide data-driven recommendations to top management
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related field
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in marketing, with 3 years of managerial experience
Preferably with experience in financial services, fintech, or other regulated industries
Strong expertise in strategy planning, digital marketing, integrated campaign and lead generation.
Proven ability to lead teams, manage cross-functional stakeholders, and execute in a fast-paced environment
Strategic, commercially minded with strong communication and leadership skills
Strong numerical aptitude with the ability to work confidently with data, metrics, and performance indicators
Highly analytical and logical thinker, capable of interpreting complex data sets and translating insights into actionable strategies
Proficiency in Excel, including data analysis, reporting, modeling, and performance tracking
