A leading global materials solutions provider is seeking a Senior Technical Support Engineer to support customers across the PCB and electronics manufacturing industry in Malaysia and the ASEAN region. Key Responsibilities
Promote new PCB material solutions and support customer qualification and certification activities.
Provide technical support and consultation to PCB customers on material-related applications and challenges.
Lead technical discussions, project proposals, and new product development activities.
Drive project conversion from evaluation stage to commercial implementation.
Collaborate with quality and engineering teams to resolve customer technical issues effectively.
Support PCB manufacturing customers across the ASEAN region.
Analyze customer requirements and recommend suitable material solutions.
Monitor industry developments, technology trends, and market requirements within the PCB sector.
Prepare technical presentations, reports, and customer documentation.
Support business development and customer relationship-building initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of experience in R&D, Lamination Process Engineering, NPI, or Process Engineering within a PCB manufacturing environment OR Minimum 4 years of technical support experience with a PCB laminate (CCL) manufacturer.
Strong understanding of PCB manufacturing processes and HDI technology.
Familiarity with PCB material applications and CCL properties.
Knowledge of PCB defect analysis and troubleshooting methodologies.
Ability to independently diagnose and resolve common customer issues related to PCB materials and manufacturing processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a systematic approach to technical investigations.
Fluent in English and Mandarin, both written and spoken.
Japanese language proficiency will be an added advantage.
Strong logical thinking and analytical mindset.
Detail-oriented with a rigorous and structured working approach.

Excellent communication, presentation, and customer relationship management skills.
Positive attitude and strong team collaboration capabilities.
Willing to travel within ASEAN and occasionally overseas for customer support and business development activities.
