JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the activities of the shipping, sales coordination and warehousing  arrangements.
  • Provides administrative support to sales staff.
  • Working primarily with Shipping Section Head, assists in:
  • Coordinate the export / import shipping schedule.
  • Oversee the inventory reports (Maintains stock of sales).
  • Liaise with forwarder on the air and ocean cargo and inland transportation.
  • Issue purchase order, delivery order, shipping documents.
  • Contact customers and suppliers.
  • Well verse in taxes, duty, custom which related to import & export tariff code and try to minimize the expenditures involved.
  • Updates the shipping schedule accordingly and arrange for delivery schedule.
  • Conduct monthly stock check in the absent of the Sales Coordinato.
  • Responsible for duties and functions as stipulated in the Quality Management System and shall:
  • Ensure that the quality management system conforms to the requirements of ISO9001;
  • Ensure the processes are delivering their intended outputs;
  • Report on the performance of the quality management system and on opportunities for improvement in particular to top management.
  • Ensure the promotion of customer focus throughout the organization; and
  • Ensure that the integrity of the quality management system is maintained when changes to the quality management system are planned and implemented.
  • Issuing of documents for indent shipment, purchase order, delivery order, export invoice.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum a diploma holder.
  • Minimum 3 years working experience in Trading Industry.
  • Preferably with some knowledge of shipping documentation.
  • Understanding some customer regulations and forwarding terms.
  • Able to supervise subordinates.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Computer literate.
