The role of the Global Indirect Procurement (GIP) is to manage and control costs and ensure compliance with all third-party suppliers. This involves creating value, engaging stakeholders, assisting in organizational design, leading development initiatives, and ensuring necessary resources are available to achieve GIP's objectives. The GIP AP Team Lead and global HR category manager play a crucial role in achieving these goals.

Job Description:
  • Lead the local GIP AP team of procurement professionals.
  • Own the global HR category through developing and executing (sub)category strategies associated with this spend area.
  • Develop and strengthen internal partnership with Head of HR and other leaders within the HR organization.
  • Achieve cost reductions and increase Global Indirect Procurement's reach while simultaneously assuring quality and security of supply, as well as minimizing contractual risks.
  • Lead and manage competitive bids, contract negotiations, and management approvals in a decentralized organization.
  • Demonstrate leadership abilities by driving change within the team and with stakeholders across the globe.
  • Effectively perform supplier management and drive improvements in the supply base by leading supplier performance reviews
  • Proactively improve or find ways to automate processes in the source to contract and purchase to pay area.
  • Provide support to global team members within Global Indirect Procurement
  • Provide subject matter best practices and approaches within the Global Indirect Procurement team.
Job Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business with Major/Specialization/Concentration in Procurement/Sourcing/Supply Chain, MBA is a plus
  • 7-10 years working experience in supply chain roles for internationally operating companies with knowledge of indirect sourcing strategies and categories especially in HR and IT
  • Solid financial acumen and strong analytical skills using Excel, SAP knowledge would be an asset
  • Strong negotiation and contracting skills with documented results
  • Demonstrated program management experience.
  • Proven track record of success in global organizations
  • Excellent English written and oral communication skills are required.
  • Proven ability to effectively present information and react to questions and requests from all levels of an organization.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to collaborate with global team members, stakeholders, and suppliers at multiple levels and varying cultures.
  • Strong experience with spend analytics.
  • Proven experience implementing stakeholder and supplier management.
  • Ability to develop into increasingly challenging leadership positions within Global Supply Chain
