The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all accounting processes. The responsible are further extended to include business development and sales. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of financial principles, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial information to management and external stakeholders.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor annual budgets.
- Provide financial forecasts and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of accountants, ensuring they are well-trained and motivated.
- Oversee day-to-day activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Stay informed about changes in accounting standards and implement necessary adjustments.
Audit Coordination:
- Coordinate and manage external audits, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Address audit findings and implement corrective actions as needed.
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Implement best practices in accounting procedures.
Financial Analysis:
- Conduct financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and business decisions.
- Provide insights into key performance indicators and financial trends.
Risk Management:
- Assess financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
- Maintain a strong internal control environment.
Business Development:**
- Ability to bring in clients regularly based on target.
- Ability to maintain close relationships with clients.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA,ACCA preferred.
- Proven experience 5 years and above in accounting, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, SQL, Autocount, etc.) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
