This company is a leading specialist in the provision of ground handling services. They are looking for a General Manager to manage the routine aircraft maintenance tasks and Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization (CAMO).
You will be responsible to:
- Oversee daily line maintenance for all aircraft under company/personal license authority.
- Oversee the Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization (CAMO) for all managed aircraft.
- Coordinate Aircraft On Ground (AOG) situations with customers, OEMs, or Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facilities.
- Collaborate with customers on aircraft reporting systems and provides guidance on aircraft downtime.
- Handle all aircraft owner subscriptions.
- Certifies aircraft tasks within the limitations of aircraft licenses.
- Manage aircraft technical records and publications.
- Validate invoices for all tasks performed on managed aircraft.
- Perform additional duties as required within the position's scope and as directed by management.
- Proficient in troubleshooting using Aircraft Wiring Diagrams and Fault Isolation Manuals, with knowledge in customer management and Aircraft Maintenance Engineering.
- Capable of effectively managing departmental operations during Aircraft On Ground (AOG) situations.
- Skilled in communicating with OEMs to ensure awareness of and access to the latest publication updates.
- Familiarity with CAMPS or Traxall software.
- Minimum qualification: Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering.
- Possession of a DCAM License (with endorsement considered advantageous).
- Mandatory possession of FAA Airframe & Powerplant (FAA A&P) license.
- Possession of EASA and CAAM licenses considered advantageous.
- At least 8 years of comprehensive experience in CAMO and Engineering roles.
