Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for procurement of materials and equipment for construction projects, identify cost saving.
Analyze market trend ensuring the purchased material is a value-for-money and
quality.
Be the gate-keeper in verifying and managing project claims and expenses of all supplies, consultants, contractors and subcontractors.
Provide accurate forecasting and reporting procurement financial metrics.
Liaise and coordinate with suppliers and contractor to ensure the order is fulfilled in a timely manner
Lead pre/post contract negotiations with contractor, subcontractor/ supplier, oversee final accurate settlement and maintain effective communication with stakeholders
Calculate construction costs, optimize budget allocation
Handle enquiries from in-house construction project teams for the order, delivery within the time frame.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor of Degree in engineering, procurement, supply chain or related field.
More than 10 years solid experience in construction procurement roles.
Experience in procurement/purchasing in construction is a MUST.
Good in numbers and negotiation skills.
Required language: English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin
