Senior Finance Specialist
A rapidly growing MNC in Bayan Lepas is looking for Senior Finance Specialist role to be part of their team. You will be a key part of helping the business to manage the activities of the Management Reporting function.
Main responsibilities of the Senior Finance Specialist role
- Oversee the operations of the Management Reporting department
- Compile and deliver monthly management reports and forecasts to senior management
- Examine monthly profit and loss statements to identify and explain financial performance variances across different business units, investigating discrepancies relative to norms, budget, and forecast
- Engage in the monthly review and closing process
- Prepare reports and coordinate the completion of bi-annual budgets
- Generate ad-hoc reports, analyses, and perform other duties as needed by the business
Key Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or ACCA / relevant professional accounting qualification
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Hands-on and proactive with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Power BI or other data visualization tools (expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is essential)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, as the role requires interaction with stakeholders from various functions
