COMPANY OVERVIEW
A rapidly growing shared service outsourcing industry company located in Kuala Lumpur is looking for a skilled talent with Record to Report (General Ledger Accounting), with leadership experience in handling a minimum 20 team members. You will play a crucial role in assisting the business/projects with the management of deliverables.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead a team of over 20 members in various APAC regions, overseeing their performance, well-being, and team cohesion.
  • Manage day-to-day operations delivery, ensuring effective governance, and implementing change management in collaboration with client and support teams (Transitions, Transformation, People).
  • Ensure timely execution of period-end close activities according to agreed schedules and compliance with GAAP and company norms.
  • Enforce process governance, providing regular reporting and analysis to key stakeholders, addressing operational issues, and discussing critical metrics.
  • Review and analyze team outputs for proper accounting treatment, completeness, and accuracy in general accounting, reporting, and narratives.
  • Understand and ensure compliance with SOX Regulations by the teams.
  • Serve as the point of escalation for resolving accounting and reporting issues promptly and accurately.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Proficient in ERP & Legacy systems
  • Preferred experience in transition processes
  • Skilled in handling RTR Tools (e.g., Blackline, HFM/HFC, workflow, etc.)
  • Familiarity with digital tools in RTR/F&A domain
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Expertise in extracting meaningful insights from large and diverse data sources
  • Effective communication of ideas and analytics concepts
  • Proficient in MS Office suite
  • Excellent client management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for team and client discussions
  • Exposure to complex work environments
  • Effective People Management skills
  • Willingness to work across shifts based on business requirements
