Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and expand the existing customer base, with a primary focus on cultivating new relationships to drive growth in the Malaysian market.
- Assess and formulate strategies for targeted markets to generate new leads and opportunities.
- Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with customers.
- Work closely with internal colleagues to ensure seamless delivery to customers.
- Conduct market research, provide forecasts, and offer feedback to the Sales Director for assessment.
- Drive product presentations and confidently penetrate the market.
- Maintain a sales-driven mindset with a specific focus on achieving revenue goals.
- Demonstrate a proactive "hunter" mentality in seeking out new customers.
- Showcase a proven track record in B2B sales, especially within the OEMs, electronics, or manufacturing sectors.
- Possess strong technical acumen and effectively communicate technical concepts.
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Provide weekly reviews to the Sales Director for reporting purposes.
- Organize training sessions for vendors, distributors, and customers.
- Conduct confident presentations and product demonstrations for customers.
- Stay informed about new product launches and acquire technical knowledge.
- Undertake any additional duties as assigned by superiors from time to time.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma/ degree in Engineering is a must; preferably electrical-trained
- At least 4-5 years relevant Sales experience in a relevant segment/industry
- Highly motivated, results-oriented, and proactive individual who thrives the challenge of acquiring new clients
- Knowledge in handling low voltage electrical product
- Excellent communicator and team player
- High degree of initiative, drive and responsibility
- Familiarity and preference working with an SME-type structure
- Required to travel in the region on requirement basis
