A leading global entity in power distribution protection, monitoring, control, and systems is seeking a Senior/Sales Engineer for the Malaysian market. 
This pivotal role plays a crucial part in assisting the sales team in achieving revenue targets and solidifying growth in Malaysia.

 
Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage and expand the existing customer base, with a primary focus on cultivating new relationships to drive growth in the Malaysian market.
  • Assess and formulate strategies for targeted markets to generate new leads and opportunities.
  • Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with customers.
  • Work closely with internal colleagues to ensure seamless delivery to customers.
  • Conduct market research, provide forecasts, and offer feedback to the Sales Director for assessment.
  • Drive product presentations and confidently penetrate the market.
  • Maintain a sales-driven mindset with a specific focus on achieving revenue goals.
  • Demonstrate a proactive "hunter" mentality in seeking out new customers.
  • Showcase a proven track record in B2B sales, especially within the OEMs, electronics, or manufacturing sectors.
  • Possess strong technical acumen and effectively communicate technical concepts.
  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Provide weekly reviews to the Sales Director for reporting purposes.
  • Organize training sessions for vendors, distributors, and customers.
  • Conduct confident presentations and product demonstrations for customers.
  • Stay informed about new product launches and acquire technical knowledge.
  • Undertake any additional duties as assigned by superiors from time to time.
Job Requirements:
  • Diploma/ degree in Engineering is a must; preferably electrical-trained
  • At least 4-5 years relevant Sales experience in a relevant segment/industry
  • Highly motivated, results-oriented, and proactive individual who thrives the challenge of acquiring new clients
  • Knowledge in handling low voltage electrical product
  • Excellent communicator and team player
  • High degree of initiative, drive and responsibility
  • Familiarity and preference working with an SME-type structure
  • Required to travel in the region on requirement basis
