A fast-growing organization in Penang Island is looking for a career minded Customer Quality Manager to be part of their team. You will be a key part of helping the business to identify challenges to growth as it expands market share in Malaysia and Southeast Asia.
Key Responsibilities of Customer Quality Manager:
- Champion quality to enhance customer perception of company products.
- Collaborate with various departments at the company headquarters and supply base to manage customer product qualifications, change notifications, audits, problem resolution, and corrective/preventive actions.
- Interface directly with customers to address requests and manage quality concerns, requiring strong organizational and communication skills.
- Demonstrate expertise in quality systems and a proven track record in a similar role within the semiconductor industry.
- Serve as the primary contact for quality issues with strategic accounts, particularly in China.
- Work closely with the Failure Analysis team to address urgent and complex customer quality issues.
- Facilitate communication between Failure Analysis Engineering and Field Sales Organization regarding the status and results of failure analysis for customer RMAs.
- Develop and implement product quality planning and control processes based on customer specifications.
- Coordinate with engineering teams to communicate product changes to customers.
- Engage with Product, Process, Packaging, and Test Engineering groups to resolve customer quality problems promptly.
- Drive corrective and preventive actions for customer RMA issues.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
- Over 10 years of experience in customer quality engineering for integrated circuits.
- Proficiency in Mandarin and English languages.
- Willingness to travel overseas as required.
