A pioneering force in the realm of advanced battery technology in Penang is seeking a Director of Information Security.
Main Responsibilities for Director of Information Security:
- Formulating and executing information security strategies, policies, and protocols.
- Identifying and mitigating risks to safeguard the organization's information assets.
- Ensuring adherence to industry regulations and standards.
- Leading and overseeing security professionals.
- Developing and managing the budget for information security initiatives.
- Collaborating with senior management to ensure departmental compliance.
- Assessing and fortifying the security of company data, networks, infrastructures, endpoints, and manufacturing systems.
- Expertise in managing security systems such as XDR, EPP, CSPM, M365, and Azure Security.
- In-depth understanding of cybersecurity challenges, needs, and solutions.
- Knowledgeable about IT-SOX, NIST-CSF, ISO 27002, SOC2, OWASP, and other security standards.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulatory and privacy guidelines and security best practices.
Key Requirements:
- Five to ten years of leadership experience in cybersecurity and IT.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or cybersecurity.
- CISSP, CISM, or equivalent certifications.
- Obtain CISSP or CISM certification date and license number.
- Confirm a minimum of five years in a security management role.
- Verify bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited university.
- Confirm it is a technical degree.
- Confirm residency in Penang or willingness to relocate (preference for local candidates).
- Confirm eligibility to work in MY/Penang.
