Job Responsibilities:
- Handle full set of accounts and ensure timely month-end closing.
- Prepare, review, and analyze management accounts.
- Assist in preparing operating forecasts, asset management plans, and budgets.
- Prepare Tax Computation (corporate submission) and ensure compliance with Malaysia tax filing requirements, including annual tax computation and transfer pricing.
- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure adequate funds for operational needs.
- Liaise with external parties such as auditors, tax agents, bankers, lawyers, company secretaries, BNM, etc.
- Assist the U.S. Controller in various tasks, including preparing special reports required by Corporate.
- Prepare local reporting requirements.
- Understand and adhere to applicable Company practices, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure business operations comply with local Acts and Laws.
- Knowledge in LMW warehouse, MIDA, inventory management, and costing is an added advantage.
- Perform General Ledger Accounting functions to ensure compliance with established operating procedures.
- Coordinate the preparation of periodic financial statements, reports, and other requested analyses.
- Analyze actual financial results and compare them to budget and prior periods.
- Provide monthly reconciliations of detailed accounts with General Ledger Control accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of operating budgets and the annual operating plan.
- Manage monthly accounting closings.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or related professional qualification.
- Minimum 8 years related experience in the management role of manufacturing environment.
