JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Draft, review and vet legal documentations and agreements; provide ideas and solutions to enhance the business value whilst protecting the company’s interest; able to highlight risks and provide suggestions to mitigate such risks
Negotiate contracts and provide assistance and support for various transactions of the company
Drive the development and implementation of the company legal strategy and contribute to the development of the company’s overall general business strategy
Provide timely legal advice to internal stakeholders in relation to the business whenever needed
In charge of external communication on legal matters and actively partake in networking with regulatory authorities, sub-regulatory bodies, law firms, accounting firms and other professional organizations in the country where the company operates
Knowledge of and experience with FIDIC, PWD and PAM
Knowledge in pre-tender and post contract management
Settlement of claims, resolution of disputes and contract change negotiation
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Law with minimum 5 years’ experience with at least 2 years in private practise with a leading law firm
Positive attitude, passionate, able to work independently, ability to perform in a challenging and dynamic environment, ability to adapt to change
Good organisational, prioritisation and time-management skills
