PHP Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining robust and scalable web applications using the Laravel PHP framework. They will collaborate with the design and product teams to understand project requirements and propose efficient technical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Utilizing the Laravel PHP framework, create and maintain dependable and scalable online applications.
- Work alongside the design and product teams to understand the needs of the project and to suggest effective technological solutions.
- Write code that is clean, secure, and well-documented while following industry standards.
- Create database schemas and queries and enhance its efficiency and performance.
- Build RESTful APIs for front-end programmers.
- For seamless application functionality, integrate third-party APIs and services as necessary.
- Test the developed features thoroughly, then troubleshoot and fix any faults or difficulties you find.
- Deliver high-quality projects on time by collaborating with other team members, including software developers, designers, and project managers.
- Play a part in preserving and enhancing the applications' and codebase's current state.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor's or higher degree in computer science, information technology, or a closely related field.
- 3 - 5 years of experience working as a PHP developer or in a related field
- Strong focus on the Laravel framework and demonstrable expertise as a PHP developer
- Solid knowledge of design patterns and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
- Strong background developing effective queries and working with relational databases like MySQL.
- Knowledge of version control programs, particularly Git.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and how to integrate them.
- Experience of server management, deployment, and hosting Laravel applications.
- Good to have knowledge of AWS, React.js, and PHPUnit
