SCM Director
US based global technology supplier located in Kedah is looking for a highly experienced and strategic SCM practitioner to lead all aspects of the company's supply chain function.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement SCM strategies that align with the company’s overall business objectives and drive growth while minimizing costs.
- Collaborate closely with cross functional teams, including sales, engineering, finance, and operations, and external suppliers, customers, and partners, ensuring effective communication and alignment across the organization.
- Lead the development of the SCM roadmap, including identifying key initiatives, prioritizing actions, and measuring success against defined metrics.
- Ensure that the company’s SCM function is aligned with industry best practices and continuously improving through the implementation of new technologies, tools, methodologies, and process improvements.
- Manage the SCM budget, including capital expenditure requests, cost savings initiatives, and supplier spend management programs.
- Develop and implement contingency planning strategies for supply chain risks, including supplier diversification, inventory optimization, and demand forecasting.
- Ensure that the company’s SCM function is compliant with all regulatory requirements, including environmental, health, safety, and quality standards.
- Lead the development of the SCM talent strategy, including recruitment, training, and development programs, and ensure that the SCM team has the necessary skills and resources to deliver results.
- Collaborate with the finance function to develop and implement SCM financial reporting and forecasting processes.
- Represent the company in industry forums and associations, sharing best practices and staying up to date with industry trends and developments.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain management
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in SCM, with a proven track record of delivering results in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve results.
- Experience in logistic, warehouse and planning
