Join the dynamic world of logistics as a Senior Pricing Executive, responsible for maximizing profitability in Air & Sea Freight products. Your role involves sourcing optimal pricing solutions, negotiating rates, and staying updated on global freight markets to support business growth and enhance profit margins. Collaboration with multiple teams and proactive problem-solving will be key in this role.
Job Responsibilities:
- Search for the best pricing solutions to maximize profitability of the Air & Sea Freight products.
- Negotiate and coordinate spot rates and/or quotations for LCL, FCL, air shipments and all services within our client’s database.
- Keep abreast with the freight worldwide market and provide the information to all parties.
- Follow up with quotations as needed and being able to source the competitive rate to support the closure of all business opportunities.
- Assist the sales team with business development and securing new business initiatives.
- Assist to strategies ways to increase profit margins while keeping cost at a minimum.
- Work closely with operations, sales, and finance team
- To participate in ad-hoc projects, special assignments as and when required
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, bachelor’s degree, any field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in the related field is preferable for this position.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Sound knowledge of air operations
- Ability to maneuver through and work in multiple operational and quoting systems daily.
- Ability to identify issues and act with a sense of urgency to resolve them.
- Team player, flexible and open minded
- Ability to resolve conflicts in a professional and urgent manner.
- Good written and verbal communication in English (as well as Mandarin would be an added advantage)
- Good computer proficiency in MS Office
