Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire a team of 10 engineers, driving the development of drivers and software to maximize the value of systems and hardware.
- Ensure business success by overseeing the delivery of new software features, enabling cutting-edge hardware, sustaining existing solutions, researching future software directions, and supporting customer escalations.
- Manage projects end-to-end, from conception to deployment, steering schedules through direct ownership and strategic delegation.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration with Hardware, Software, Support, and Manufacturing teams to drive customer success and capitalize on new opportunities.
- Shape software and hardware strategy by engaging with technical leaders, managers, and product managers to define and execute long-term plans.
- Mentor and develop talent, nurturing team members' careers through guidance and growth opportunities.
- Communicate effectively across all product-line stakeholders, including upper management, ensuring alignment and strategic vision.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
- 5–7 years as a software engineer, plus 1–2 years in team leadership.
- Proficient in C, C++, Object-Oriented Programming, and scripting languages like Python.
- Skilled in hardware & systems programming, software/hardware architecture, and project management methodologies (Agile & Waterfall).
- Experience with device driver development (Linux) and PC bus interfaces (PCI, PCIe, SMBus, etc.).
- Background in controller, computer, or motherboard development.
- Proven ability to lead teams, ensuring timely project delivery to specifications.
