You will be a key part of helping the business to identify challenges to growth as it expands market share in Malaysia and Southeast Asia.
Key Responsibilities of Technical Product Specialist:
- Conduct technical performance benchmarking and analysis to bolster engineering solutions.
- Support the installation and execution of product demonstrations, events, and HALCON exhibitions.
- Display a strong enthusiasm for imparting product knowledge to customers.
- Coordinate and lead instructional sessions for customers at beginner and intermediate levels.
- Collaborate with fellow engineers to assess HALCON software and consistently apply best practices.
- Propose and implement innovative, effective solutions for machine vision challenges, contributing to the expansion of applications for the assigned Product Group (HALCON from MVTec, Deep Learning).
- Foster cross-functional collaboration with suppliers, customers, the Sales Team, and other engineers to deliver sophisticated solutions.
- Assume responsibilities as an organizer and training provider, leading classes for customers at varying proficiency levels.
- Willingness to travel within the Asia region as needed, up to 15%-20% of the time.
Key Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in computer, electrical and electronics, mechanical engineering fields, or computer science.
- Proficiency in C, C++, C#, Visual Basic.Net, Python, MATLAB. Familiarity in OpenCV and Linux would be plus. Demonstrated experience in 3D development, Computer Vision, Image Processing and Embedded Vision. Demonstrated experience in developing software for computer vision, machine learning or computer graphics application.
- Demonstrated industrial experience in developing computer vision solution.
- Demonstrated experience in working on imaging/camera systems.
- Demonstrated experience with GPU/CPU programming.
- Willingness to travel overseas as required.
