JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for GL reporting, treasury functions and maintaining fixed asset register
- Responsible for overall reporting, local, head office and statutory reporting
- Ensuring all reporting comply with accounting and reporting standards, law and regulations
- Ensuring all general ledgers are updated timely, accurately and processed in accordance to the financial policies and established procedures
- Ensuring Balance sheet accounts are reconciled on a periodic and timely basis to verify that all items are correctly posted
- Preparing current tax and deferred tax computation
- Review year end audit accounts computation, tax return and to liaise with auditors and tax agent on related issues
- Analyse monthly financial result and identify the root reasons for the significant variance between actual and budget, projection and last year
- To ensure the team job functions are performed in an effective and efficient manner with continuous improvement on the work process
- Perform all other duties as assigned and required from time to time
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent
- Preferably those who has Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA etc
- Being a member of the MIA or CPA will be an added advantage
- At least 6 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
- Preferably those who has experience in manufacturing or automotive related industry
- Solid knowledge of IFRS
- Applicants must be willing to work in Shah Alam
- Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent
